Learning that isn't all in your head

Our curriculum is based on the rigorous Best Standards, that prepare students for college and career readiness. Our curriculum is infused with technology, literacy, and hands-on projects that evoke student’s critical thinking.  Teachers meet with teacher coaches and administrators to develop and enhance curriculum maps, common assessments, and learning activities that meets the needs of all students.  Discovery Academy also provides “being there” field experiences, which provide the students an opportunity to experience the standards in real world settings. 

We have incorporated the following high credit courses to our core curriculum of math, science, language arts, and social studies: Algebra I, Geometry, Spanish I, and Physical Science.
